AI Chart Analyzer: What It Can and Can't Tell You
An AI chart analyzer reads a chart image and explains what it sees. It can be a useful way to learn, as long as you know its limits.
What it can do
- Describe the trend and structure in plain language.
- Point out levels and possible patterns on the chart.
- Explain what would prove the read wrong.
- Give you a second look at a chart you have already marked yourself.
- When ChartNox can identify the market from the chart's ticker, show its current price in a separate Live now note, with where it sits against the read's levels and recent headlines where available.
What it can't do
- Predict the future. No tool can tell you where price will go.
- Read anything outside your screenshot. The AI read uses only the image, not news or a timeframe you did not capture. When ChartNox can identify the market, it adds a separate Live now note with the current price, kept apart from the AI read.
- Always read correctly. AI can misread a chart, so check what it says against the chart itself.
How to get a better read
- Use a clean screenshot with the price axis visible.
- Show enough history for the trend to be clear.
- Remove extra indicators and drawings where you can.
Using it to learn
Mark the chart yourself first, then compare. Where you and the AI disagree, work out which of you the chart supports. This builds your own eye far better than only reading the answer.
What a ChartNox readout includes
- Bias: bullish lean, bearish lean or no clear lean, with the visible level and swing behind it.
- Trend direction and how confident the read is.
- Key support and resistance levels.
- What must stay true for the read, the level that would invalidate it, and the next structure event to watch.
- Study reference levels for entry, take profit and stop loss. They are for learning, not instructions to trade.
- A risk level, and which pattern from the ChartNox library fits the chart (forming, confirmed or invalidated), if any.
- A two-sentence summary, with the levels drawn on your chart.
Which charts work
Any price chart screenshot: crypto, stocks, forex or indices, from TradingView, Binance, Bybit, MetaTrader, Thinkorswim, Webull or any other platform. Images that are not price charts are refused.
Can ChatGPT analyze a chart screenshot?
Yes, general AI assistants can describe a chart image. A dedicated analyzer like ChartNox follows a fixed procedure instead: it returns the same set of sections every time, it is told to use only prices it can read on the chart, and it gives the same readout for the same image.
How ChartNox works
Upload a chart screenshot and ChartNox explains the trend, the key levels and the level that would break the read. It is free to try: 1 analysis a day, with no account or card needed. A free account opens the full basic readout.
Basic ($9/month) gives 3 analyses a day and Pro ($29/month) gives 10, both with a 3-day free trial (one per account).
ChartNox is educational software. It does not give financial advice or trading signals.
